Mozambique general

Mozambique is one of the last unspoilt safari countries in the world.   It also offers exceptional  holiday destinations including diving and deep sea fishing.


Mozambique is a very large country, at 801 590 km2. That is 80% the size of Germany and France combined.  The country borders with Tanzania in the north and Malawi, Zimbabwe and South Africa along the western border.


The most practical way of travelling to Mozambique, is by air from Johannesburg (South Africa).  Regular schedule flight of both LAM and SAA/SA Airlink flies to most major destinations in Mozambique.  


From there the options are either by air charter or road.  We do not recommend travelling by road at night.
