General Information


1. Should you be flying via another destination i.e. Johannesburg to Beira, please confirm the baggage allowance for the Beira leg.  Do not assume the same international weight allowance applies.  Check the baggage requirements with the charter company before departing from home.


2. Malaria is a real risk.  Do take suitable preventative medicine.

3. You will require a visa to enter Mozambique.  This can be obtained at the border control point where you enter the country.  The cost is approximately US$80 per person.


4. To be able to hunt legally in Mozambique you will require a Mozambique General Hunting license.  We will arrange that in advance.


5. A fire arm permit is required for each rifle brought on safari.  It is also possible to arrange the use of one of our rifles.


6. Trophy license fee must be paid in advance for all the major species to be hunted.


7. Rates include the following:

Service of a professional hunter

Services of trackers, skinners and camp staff

Field preparation of trophies

All ground transport in the hunting area

Camp accommodation, meals, soft drinks and laundry services.


8. The following costs are excluded:

The costs for travel and en route accommodation.

Gratuities

Liquor (unless specifically agreed)

Packing, export & shipping of the trophies  

Firearm and ammunition hire

Visa costs.
